1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and use of products and services provided by Learning Sanctuary, including Little Consciousness Explorers online programmes, individual digital lessons, educational resources and related content.

Learning Sanctuary is operated as a sole trader in the United Kingdom.

By purchasing or accessing our products or services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Little Consciousness Explorers

Little Consciousness Explorers is an educational life-skills and wellbeing programme primarily designed for children aged 6–11.

The programme explores areas including thoughts and emotions, awareness, attention, perception, confidence, self-love, self-respect, resilience, boundaries, relationships, friendship, problem-solving and other life skills.

Content may include videos, stories, discussions, practical activities, movement, breathing, mindfulness, reflection and downloadable or online materials.

Little Consciousness Explorers is educational and is not a medical, psychological, therapeutic, counselling or diagnostic service.

3. Purchases by Adults

Purchases must be made by a person aged 18 or over.

Little Consciousness Explorers content is purchased by parents, carers or other responsible adults for use with children.

Parents/carers are responsible for deciding whether activities are appropriate for their child and for providing appropriate supervision when required.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and login information.

You must not share your account or provide access to purchased content to people outside your household.

​

5. Online Membership

The Little Consciousness Explorers Online Membership is currently available for £40 per month, unless a different price is clearly displayed at the time of purchase.

The membership is a recurring subscription. Payment will be collected automatically according to the billing schedule displayed when you purchase.

Membership continues until cancelled.

You may cancel your membership to prevent future renewals using the cancellation options provided through your account or by contacting Learning Sanctuary.

Cancellation does not normally provide a refund for a billing period that has already begun, except where required by law.

Access following cancellation will be governed by the terms displayed for the membership at the time of purchase.

6. Individual Digital Lessons

Individual Little Consciousness Explorers lessons are currently available for £12 each, unless a different price is clearly displayed at purchase.

These are one-time purchases and do not create a recurring subscription.

Purchased individual lessons provide ongoing household access unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

7. Digital Content and Immediate Access

Digital content may be made available immediately following successful payment.

Where immediate digital access is provided during the statutory cancellation period, customers are required at checkout to expressly request and consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that once supply begins they will lose their statutory right to cancel that digital-content purchase.

Nothing in these Terms affects consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Intellectual Property and Licence

All original Little Consciousness Explorers materials and Learning Sanctuary content remain the intellectual property of Learning Sanctuary unless otherwise stated.

Purchasing access grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the content within your own household for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not, without prior written permission:

• copy or reproduce content for distribution;

• share access with other households;

• upload content to public or shared platforms;

• distribute or republish lessons or resources;

• sell or resell content;

• use materials to provide your own commercial classes, courses or services;

• remove copyright or ownership notices; or

• represent Learning Sanctuary materials as your own.

9. Availability and Updates

We may update, improve, replace or reorganise programme content as Little Consciousness Explorers develops.

Reasonable efforts will be made to maintain access to online content, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed where interruptions result from maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

10. Educational and Wellbeing Disclaimer

Little Consciousness Explorers is provided for educational and informational purposes.

It does not replace medical, psychological, therapeutic, educational or other professional advice or support.

Where activities involve movement, breathing, mindfulness or similar wellbeing practices, children should stop if they experience pain, dizziness, distress or significant discomfort.

Parents/carers remain responsible for determining whether participation is suitable for their child.

If you have concerns regarding your child's health, development, mental health or wellbeing, please seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

11. Results

Every child and family is different.

Learning Sanctuary does not guarantee particular educational, behavioural, emotional or wellbeing outcomes from participation.

Testimonials describe individual experiences and do not guarantee that every participant will experience the same results.

12. Suspension or Termination

Learning Sanctuary may suspend or terminate access where there is reasonable evidence of serious misuse, unauthorised sharing, redistribution, fraud or material breach of these Terms.

This does not affect statutory consumer rights.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

Learning Sanctuary is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into or for losses arising from use of the service for commercial purposes where the service was supplied for personal use.

14. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to our services or applicable requirements.

The version applying to a particular purchase will be the version applicable when that purchase or subscription was made, subject to any changes that may lawfully apply thereafter.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction rights available to you under applicable law.

Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn. In some circumstances, Learning Sanctuary may be unable to safely provide a particular in-person service without information that is genuinely necessary for the child's safety.

3. RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Learning Sanctuary primarily supplies digital educational content and online memberships.

Individual Digital Lessons

Individual Little Consciousness Explorers lessons provide immediate access to digital content.

Before immediate access begins, customers are required to expressly request and consent to immediate supply during the 14-day cancellation period and acknowledge that once supply begins they will lose their statutory right to cancel the digital-content purchase.

Once supply has begun following that consent and acknowledgement, refunds are not provided simply because you change your mind.

UK guidance specifically requires the customer's agreement to immediate supply and acknowledgement of losing the cancellation right; if these requirements are not followed, the customer may retain the right to cancel.

Monthly Membership

Little Consciousness Explorers Online Membership is a recurring monthly subscription.

You may cancel your subscription to prevent future renewals.

Cancellation does not normally provide a refund for a membership period that has already begun or for digital content already supplied, except where required by law.

The effect of cancellation on access is explained in the membership terms displayed when purchasing.

Faulty or Misdescribed Digital Content

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

If digital content is faulty, materially not as described or does not otherwise meet applicable legal requirements, you may have remedies under UK consumer law.

Please contact Learning Sanctuary so the issue can be investigated and an appropriate remedy provided where required.

4. DIGITAL PRODUCT POLICY

Learning Sanctuary sells digital educational content, including Little Consciousness Explorers individual lessons and online programme access.

No physical product will be supplied unless a product listing specifically states otherwise.

2. Delivery

Digital access is normally provided following successful payment.

Customers are responsible for having suitable internet access and a compatible device capable of accessing the relevant online content.

3. Immediate Access and Cancellation Rights

Where digital content is supplied immediately during the statutory cancellation period, the customer must expressly request and consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that once supply begins they will lose the statutory right to cancel that digital-content purchase.

This agreement is obtained during the purchase process.

Government guidance requires this agreement and acknowledgement before immediate digital supply begins.

4. Individual Lesson Access

Unless otherwise stated at purchase, a £12 individual Little Consciousness Explorers lesson provides ongoing access for personal household use.

5. Membership Access

Membership content is available according to the access conditions of the membership.

Membership access is connected to an active membership and may end following cancellation or non-payment in accordance with the membership terms.

6. Personal Household Licence

Digital content is licensed to the purchaser for personal, non-commercial household use.

Purchasing content does not transfer ownership or copyright.

You must not:

• share account credentials or access links with other households;

• reproduce or distribute lessons;

• upload materials publicly;

• sell or sublicense content;

• commercially teach or deliver Learning Sanctuary materials; or

• otherwise make purchased content available to unauthorised people.

7. Technical Problems

If access fails because of a problem with Learning Sanctuary's content or platform setup, please contact us.

We will make reasonable efforts to correct the issue.

8. Content Changes

Digital materials may be corrected, updated or improved over time.

Learning Sanctuary may make reasonable changes to lesson presentation, organisation or supporting resources as the programme develops.

9. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Digital Product Policy limits statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Little Consciousness Explorers Participation & Safeguarding Policy

1. Purpose

Little Consciousness Explorers is committed to providing children with a safe, respectful and supportive environment in which to explore life skills, wellbeing, awareness and personal development.

The welfare and best interests of children are taken seriously.

2. Age Range

Little Consciousness Explorers is primarily designed for children aged 6–11.

Parents/carers are responsible for determining whether the content and activities are appropriate for their individual child.

​

3. Parent/Carer Responsibility — Online Programme

Online Little Consciousness Explorers content is purchased and managed by an adult.

Parents/carers remain responsible for their child's supervision and wellbeing while using online materials.

Activities should be adapted or stopped where a parent/carer considers them unsuitable for their child.

​

4. In-Person Sessions

For in-person sessions:

• children will be treated with dignity and respect;

• communication will remain age-appropriate;

• appropriate professional boundaries will be maintained;

• reasonable steps will be taken to provide a safe physical and emotional environment;

• parents/carers must provide relevant information necessary for safe participation; and

• parents/carers remain responsible for their child outside the agreed session arrangements.

5. Medical Conditions and Allergies

Parents/carers should provide information about medical conditions, allergies or other health considerations where genuinely relevant to safe participation.

Only relevant information should be provided.

Because health information receives additional protection under data-protection law, where explicit consent is relied upon, this should be obtained separately rather than bundled into general terms. The ICO says explicit consent should be specific, affirmative and clearly stated.

6. Safeguarding

If a safeguarding concern arises, Learning Sanctuary will take it seriously.

Where a child makes a disclosure or a concern is identified, the session leader will aim to:

• remain calm and listen;

• avoid leading or unnecessarily questioning the child;

• not promise secrecy;

• reassure the child appropriately;

• make an accurate record where necessary; and

• take appropriate further action.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include seeking safeguarding advice or contacting appropriate safeguarding or emergency services.

7. Communication With Children

Administrative communication relating to bookings, purchases and participation is conducted with parents/carers rather than privately with children.

Learning Sanctuary does not use private direct messaging with children for general programme administration.

8. Photography and Media

Identifiable photographs, video or other promotional media featuring participating children will not be published by Learning Sanctuary without appropriate parent/carer permission.

9. Educational Nature

Little Consciousness Explorers is an educational programme.

It is not therapy, counselling, psychological treatment, medical treatment or a diagnostic service.

Participation should not be used as a substitute for professional assessment, treatment or support where this is needed.

10. Individual Differences

Children experience activities differently.

Children will not be required to adopt particular beliefs or opinions as a condition of participation.

The programme encourages curiosity, reflection, awareness, respectful discussion and the exploration of different perspectives.

11. Behaviour and Safety

Learning Sanctuary aims to respond to behaviour in a respectful and developmentally appropriate way.

However, where behaviour creates a significant or continuing safety risk to the child, other children or the session leader, participation may need to be adapted, paused or ended.

Where reasonably possible, this will be discussed with the parent/carer.
